Hi Rose People, Look At What's cooking at Sequoia. I wish the first two of these would get into commerce someday.
(The Dahlia rose is more likely I would expect).

New Ralph Moore Roses

Great Creativity From A Great Hybridizer!

Here are a Couple Of Very Interesting Varieties.
And Some Hulthemia Hybrids

Shot at Sequoia Nursery in Visalia California, Spring 2002

'The Dahlia Rose' I love dahlias and I love the look of this rose. Another one I'm lusting after. I think this one will be released.

This one is named 'Wedding Cake'. This is one that I have GOT to have, but that I don't think I'll ever get the chance. One of the most unusual roses I have ever seen. I love the coloration AND the form.

Unnamed Hulthemia hybrid. Ralph Moore says he is really trying to accentuate the red centers.

Unnamed Hulthemia Hybrid. The red center on this one is quite small. Looks a bit like a small 'Betty Boop'

A Third? or Fourth? generation unnamed Hulthemia Hybrid. More petals. Notice the string in the lower right corner. It is a tag identifying the cross of the hip above.

Just a small selection of many weird and wonderful things in the back greenhouses at Sequoia Nursery.
