CLASSIFICATION INFORMATION: "Joyfulness" OTHER ANNOYING LITTLE FACTS: Some True, Some Made Up

Name: Joyfulness
Synonym: Frohsinn, Frohsinn 82 Peccato di Giola
Designation: TANsinnroh
Class: Hybrid Tea Rose (Modern Large Flowered)
Hybridizer/Date: Tantau? or Kordes?, Germany 1982/84
Parentage: Unknown but possibly related to the 1961 Joyfulness which is Horstmann's Jubilaumsrose x Circus
Fragrance: Mild
ARS Color: Apricot and apricot blend
35 petals

Comments: Not to be confused with the 1961 Tantau Floribunda of the same name.... or is it? Many people have these two roses mixed up, so I don't know which is which. Botanica's roses say it is a Kordes rose, but the catalogue of the San Jose Heritage Rose Garden says it was hybridized by Tantau. It is reputed to be widely grown and highly loved in Australia.
