Comments: Here it is folks. The NUMBER ONE most popular rose in the history of the world. Period Bred at the end of World War II by the French Hybridizer Meilland, it quickly became a symbol for the end of the war. It doesn't hurt that it is a beautiful and sometimes fragrant flower that blooms a lot on a very vigorous and hardy bush. Many people say that today's 'Peace' is less yellow and colorful than the 'Peace' of the old days. I myself have seen absolutely no empirical evidence for this belief. Look Here! More Pictures |
