Comments: A once bloomer, but oh what a bloomer. The 'pendula' comes from its growth habit if grown into a tree, it hangs down in a pendulous fashion. Grown as a pillar as in the picture here, it can be spectacular. This rose was RE-introduced in 1928 by Kordes. The true origins are unknown. The specimen I photographed is at the home garden of Phillip Robinson and Greg Lowery in Sebastopol, California.
